6. INTERNATIONAL CULTURAL MARKETING WORKSHOP
We have had tremendous response from the last newsletter’s announcement of the International Cultural Marketing Workshop. We are currently in negotiation with organizations in Africa, Canada, New Mexico, USA and Colorado, USA for delivering the program.
The Workshop outline is a base framework and we are with each of our clients tailoring it to engage local speakers and presenters as well as to meet the specific needs of the identified potential participants. For more information or to discuss your needs and interest please contact either or .
The Workshop is primarily targeted at Indigenous performing arts practitioners, performers and companies ( music, theatre, opera, dance, storytelling both traditional and contemporary) – it can be presented with specific streams that address the needs and interests of visual artists and craftspeople, writers and self publishers as well as multimedia artists.
The Workshop is also suitable for arts and cultural organizations and Festival organizers who would be considering hosting International Indigenous guests or developing International market opportunities within their home state or region. People working in local, regional and national arts and economic development agencies (government and NGO’s) will also benefit from participating with local artists and arts workers in the Workshop. All participants will be required to complete a pre Workshop questionnaire to assist the Presenters to most effectively target the Workshop.
The Workshop will be interactive and provide time for questions and discussions generated by participants. The Workshop will feature large group and small group work with hands on exercises for individuals and small groups. We are negotiating with two interested parties at present to develop the Workshop into a Conference which will allow more participants from across a larger geographic areas – we can work with you to develop the program that best serves your and the participants needs and aspirations.
